The restaurant did not accept bookings with the fork. The waiter was really angry with the fork because they do not work with the fork and the restaurant do not want booking with the fork.

First night. First meal out. A real local treat. Simple food. Lovely atmosphere. Great service. No pressure. Just what we needed.

Small interior with mostly exterior seating. The food and service far exceed the setting.Excellent execution of local dishes with a suprising level of sophistication.The wine list is all Sicilian,extensive and reasonably priced.The service was cordial and professional.Any talk of a tourist trap is nonsense..Highly recommend.

Very good ambience as we dined in the courtyard. Staff was attentive. The caponata was delicious, the grilled swordfish was fresh and the seafood risotto was good!

Excellent food. Although I am an omnivore and my wife a pescatarian/vegetarian we decided to give their vegetarian tasting menu a try (something different from the usual traditional restaurant offering) and they really came through with great food. Kudos as well for their recommendation of a very reasonably priced (and good) bottle of wine - not a usual feature at the upper echelons of fine dining.

Wonderful small restaurant across from the Duomo di Cefalu. The staff is very friendly and helpful when explaining dishes and which wine to choose. Our veal dish was delicious as was the salad. It was so much fun that we moved to the bar so we could visit with the staff to share their travel experiences and ours.

After seeing the reviews we jumped at the chance to book. The welcome was unusual as it seemed like a seated outside member of the public telling us to sit down at any free table.The other thing, which I am putting down to different culture, is service without a smile or image of not wanting to be there. What I will say is the quality of product and outside area in a beautiful street is a combination that with a friendly welcoming and a smile now and again will complete the experience. I wish you all the success. Amazing cheese and cold meat platter.

Western restaurant, not used to this taste, generally.

They didn&#39;t accept payment cards for orders less than 30 euro

We had a disappointing rime in this this restaurant. The food was good and our waiter was charming but when it cape to paying, we had to sit and wait with empty plates for 30 min as &lsquo;the boss&rsquo; was not there to take our payment. I was going to pay using the Fork paying function but was strictly advised not to do that. In the end my husband went inside and the boss seems to have been there to get the payment.

Avoid. No wine list available! We asked for a local wine which when it appeared on the bill was charged at 30 euros! All the wines we had during our 14 day stay were around 20 euro max. Service terrible as not interested in us or if our food was ok. Just so disappointing to waste an evening meal when so many great restaurants around. Just exactly the opposite of a good meal and experience.
